Do you like to take matters into your own hands and love it when everything runs smoothly together in the end? Would you like to use your mechanical and technical understanding to ensure that our ventilation products and systems continue to break new efficiency and sustainability records? Then an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) at the technology leader ebm-papst is the right choice for you. With us, you will learn how to convert complex production lines so that components for the latest generation of fan and drive systems roll off the production line without any problems. You will produce individual components yourself and keep improving them. At the end of each working day, you are left with the satisfying feeling of having achieved something meaningful.

Tasks
This is what you can expect:

As an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) at ebm-papst, you will lend a hand during your training. One day you install pneumatic and hydraulic systems. On the other, you turn, mill and file to produce exactly the component that is needed for your machine. In addition to the precise production of individual components made of metal or plastic, your tasks will also include the construction of complete production systems. If something doesn't go smoothly, you take care of troubleshooting, repairing or maintenance. Everything you do requires manual dexterity and the ability to take on a challenge. Not alone, but in an intensive exchange with your training manager and trainee colleagues, which, as always, leads to the best result.

Length of studies

3.5 years

Your apprenticeship usually lasts three and a half years. However, it is also possible to shorten the training period to three years. Feel free to contact us about it!

Training Locations

Mulfingen, St. Georgen. Herbolzheim, Lauf

You will complete your training at one of these four locations. You will learn the first time in the training workshop. Towards the end, you'll pass through various technical departments.

Vocational school location

Künzelsau, Villingen-Schwenningen, Emmendingen, Lauf

Your vocational school days will take you from Mulfingen to the vocational school in Künzelsau, from St. Georgen to the vocational school in Villingen-Schwenningen, from Herbolzheim to the GHSE Emmendingen and in Lauf to the local State Vocational School Centre Nürnberger Land.
