In your apprenticeship as an IT specialist for application development (m/f/d), everything revolves around software solutions that make our work processes and product systems even more efficient and sustainable. Right from the start, you will be working on and with digital technologies of the future, with the help of which digitalization at ebm-papst is progressing in leaps and bounds. In your IT team, you will learn how to program future-proof software and how to train employees and customers on how to use it or support them in doing so. You plan and design a wide variety of programs and applications and develop application-oriented and user-friendly user interfaces. To do this, you will learn and use various programming languages and developer tools.

Tasks
This is what you can expect:

In the apprenticeship as an IT specialist for application development (m/f/d), you will learn various programming languages, such as B. PHP, C#, Java Script, Java, Python or ABAP, and apply them directly. You will develop software from scratch, but you will also subject existing solutions to user tests in order to adapt them to new requirements. You will often work in fixed project teams together with other developers on the development of software concepts. You will also be responsible for testing, evaluating and improving software products as well as fixing technical problems, malfunctions or malfunctions. When working on software, you will learn how to create documentation, instructions, protocols and reports. Once an application is mature, you present it to future users and train them on it. As the field of application development evolves rapidly, you never really stop learning. Rather, training about new developments, trends and innovations in the field of software development is a permanently exciting part of your job.

Length of studies

3 years

Your apprenticeship lasts three years. It is possible to shorten the training period to two and a half years. Feel free to contact us about it!

Training Locations

Mulfingen, St. Georgen

You will complete your training at one of these two locations.

Vocational school location

Bad Mergentheim, Villingen-Schwenningen

Your vocational school days will take you from Mulfingen to the vocational school in Bad Mergentheim and from St. Georgen to the vocational school Villingen-Schwenningen in the district of Villingen.

Training

During your training:

All further training that is necessary for you personally, e.g. B. SQL training, etc.

After your training:
