It enables you to combine the basics of both disciplines in an interdisciplinary manner and thus become a sought-after all-rounder. Do you want to acquire in-depth know-how about IT architectures and modern operating systems? In this business informatics degree program, you will approach business issues with the help of IT application systems and always find the right solution in the end.

Tasks
This is what you can expect:

In your dual study program in Business Informatics, you will learn to plan and analyze existing IT structures, business processes, data flows and information requirements as well as to develop new or improved IT systems and applications using various programming languages, software architectures, databases and web technology. In addition to conception, you will also be responsible for the implementation, support and maintenance of IT systems and applications. As part of your practical part at ebm-papst, you will get to know and use numerous digital tools, methods, standards as well as monitoring, reporting and controlling instruments. Once you have successfully launched an IT solution for a business management topic, you will train future users in how to use it.

Duration

3 years

During your three-year dual study program, you will switch back and forth between the university and ebm-papst every three months.

Training location

Mulfingen, St. Georgen

You will complete your practical training at one of these two locations.

University location

Mosbach, Schwenningen

You will be studying at the DHBW in Mosbach if your practical part takes place in Mulfingen. You can go to the DHBW Villingen-Schwenningen when you complete your practical training in St. Georgen.

Training

During your training

You will receive all the IT training you need for your daily work. For example, you can take the instructor's certificate or take the SAP courses of the DHBW.

After your training:

After completing your bachelor's degree, you can specialise further, e.g. in the field of IT security, infrastructure, business or industry. After successfully completing your B.Sc. studies, you also have the opportunity to follow up with a Master's degree program.
