As a warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d), you will organize everything related to the incoming and outgoing of goods as well as their storage. Be it with a forklift truck or with the help of modern software. In contrast to the apprenticeship as a warehouse clerk (m/f/d), you will also pass through the classic commercial departments, such as purchasing, sales or marketing. All in all, you can expect a lively mix of business and technical activities. After your final exam, you will have a wide range of opportunities for exciting jobs in our modern logistics center and merchandise management system.

Tasks
This is what you can expect:

During your apprenticeship at ebm-papst, you will get to know the various activities in warehousing and merchandise management. You accept goods, check the accompanying documents and check whether the number and condition are ok. With the help of digital tools, you can create route plans and organize logistical processes. At times, you touch on topics such as quality assurance, health and environmental protection. When you're not sitting at the computer checking inventory, you can pack goods yourself, sit on the forklift to expertly transport things from A to B, or show our driverless transport systems the way. In everything you do, you are in constant contact with colleagues from your own team and from other teams.

Length of studies

3 years

Your apprenticeship usually lasts three years. However, there is also the possibility of shortening the training to two and a half years. Feel free to contact us about it!

Training Locations

Mulfingen, St. Georgen, Lauf, Herbolzheim

You will complete your training at one of these four locations. In Mulfingen, you will mostly work in our dispatch center in Hollenbach, 3 km away.

Vocational school location

Künzelsau or Bad Mergentheim, Donaueschingen, Nuremberg, Freiburg

Your vocational school days will take you from Mulfingen to the commercial school in Künzelsau or Bad Mergentheim, from St. Georgen to the KHS Donaueschingen, from Lauf to the vocational school 14 to Nuremberg and from Herbolzheim to the Max Weber School or the Walter-Eugen-Gymnasium in Freiburg.
