Mulfingen goes global.

Trained industrial clerk Nadine from Upper Franconia started her career in 2001 as an administrator for human resources. However, it wasn't long before her forward drive took her into shipping, logistics and accounting. However, Nadine is not satisfied with that alone. With a thirst for knowledge and a love of new things, she embarked on further training in business administration and management, creating even more paths for herself.

After three years in a long-distance relationship, in 2017 love took her to a new home and a new job: she became head of Human Resources at ebm‑papst in Lauf. After the job interview, which was the very first in her new place of residence, it was immediately clear to Nadine: “It's a match - especially on a personal level it was just right.” From then on, she streamlines structures, supports the affiliation with St. Georgen and fights for the interests of the employees.

In 2022, she will play an active role in putting the new strategy into practice and make a significant contribution to the implementation of the new Corporate Center. She is promoted to management level 1 at St. Georgen where she brings her many skills to bear. Since April 2023, she has been responsible for international working relations as Head of the global Corporate Center. For Nadine this major step into a role with global reach is a milestone in her career.

When asked what exactly it is that motivates her again and again to face new challenges together with her employees, she says: “I have the opportunity to create structures that provide our employees with a centralized system on a global level. We negotiate company agreements and regulations that offer attractive working conditions for our employees.”

ebm-papst continually offers employees the opportunity to change and develop in a wide variety of areas.

Another part that falls into Nadine's area of responsibility is assigning employees for positions abroad. This also involves a physical interchange of employees, which gives each and every one of them the opportunity to get to know other countries and cultures and to grow from these experiences. “The resulting diversity helps the company in every respect,” Nadine is certain.

But Nadine, who herself is the mother of a five-year-old daughter, also sees great potential in the promotion of women and especially mothers in the company. “The days when employees were generally expected to work 40 hours are over. For reasons such as the shortage of skilled workers, we need to bring mothers back into the workplace – with however many working hours. There are still only a few women at the top management level in particular. But thanks to the efforts of Dr. Sonja Fleischer, among others, a lot of change is currently taking place in this area.

It remains to be decided what Nadine's next steps will be, as she is very happy in her current position. In her role she works at a global level to offer employees the best possible service. “That's what drives me and it keeps me going every day!” One thing is for sure: Nadine's next step is sure to come, and once again she will use her versatile skills to the best of her ability.
