You can submit your application documents digitally via our careers website. Please note that it is not possible to apply by post or e-mail.

Please only use files in PDF, DOC, DOCX or TXT format with a maximum size of 5 MB for the cover letter and 10 MB for the CV. (Image formats such as JPG, PNG, GIF, etc. cannot be read by the system.)

You can address your cover letter to the responsible contact person. Contact details can be found in the advertisement for the position for which you are applying. For unsolicited applications, please use a general approach.

In principle, it is possible to apply for several vacancies. We also always check your profile with regard to other possible applications and locations. You are also welcome to refer to other positions that are of interest to you in your cover letter.

FAQs for school students: Our answers to the topic of training or dual studies.

There are no fixed deadlines for submitting the application. As long as a position is advertised on our career website, there is no filling and we are happy to accept applications.

The Chamber of Industry and Commerce apprenticeships begin on 1 September of each year. The courses of study at the Cooperative State University start on 1 October, with a pre-study internship planned, which begins on 1 August.

This is important to us at ebm-papst:

School grades aren't all that matters. We believe that you can best convince us with your talent, enthusiasm and personality. That's why you've come to the right place with a secondary school leaving certificate, a high school diploma or a comparable school leaving certificate.

In addition, we are happy if you have mastered a foreign language and, depending on the area, we are interested in your subject-specific previous knowledge. If, for example, you would like to learn a profession with technical training content such as electronics technician or industrial mechanic, it is an advantage if you have already gained initial experience with technical topics. Your personal skills, such as teamwork and communication skills, are also very important to us.

As a rule, your training lasts three or three and a half years. Under certain conditions, however, it is possible to shorten the duration of the training. If you want to know what options and ways there are, feel free to contact us personally!

Yes, there is. Depending on the offer of the responsible vocational school, the additional lessons may have to be attended at another vocational school.

You are entitled to 30 days of vacation per calendar year. In the study area, 25 days of vacation are provided.

Our answers to your FAQs – for university students at ebm‑papst.

Ideally, you should apply about four months before your planned start. Of course, we will also try to find a job for you at short notice if necessary.

The start of a student activity is not fixed and can therefore be done at any time.

The working student position is normally limited to a period of six months. An extension is possible after consultation with the department.

The weekly hours for a working student position comprise a minimum of eight and a maximum of twenty hours. During the lecture-free period, an increase to a maximum of forty hours per week is possible.

The duration of a compulsory internship depends on the respective study and examination regulations. For a voluntary internship, a duration of four to six months is desirable for us. Basically, the more time you plan for your internship, the better we can integrate you into the day-to-day business. This will give you more and better insights into your future professional life.

Your internship at ebm-papst is generally remunerated. However, the height differs depending on the location. We will clarify all the details with you during the interview.

In total, mentoring programs, one-on-one coaching, language courses as well as over 400 different training offers on our digital learning platform and much more are available to you for your professional and personal development. Which of these will advance you personally and suit you will be agreed individually with your manager and the HR department.

Our goal is to provide our employees with international professional experience. We promote the international exchange of our employees so that we can grow together. With a presence in almost 50 countries, we are represented worldwide and enable shorter stays abroad (1-3 months), as well as short-term assignments (3-6 months) and long-term assignments (1-5 years). The possibilities for this will be discussed individually between you and your manager.

Flexibility is a central part of ebm-papst's corporate culture. We value an open climate that is flexible enough to take into account the professional and personal interests of our employees. These include flexitime and part-time models or mobile working. Of course, the extent to which you can use these and other options also depends on individual factors such as location and workspace. In the areas of administration and technology, for example, mobile working is possible up to 80% at the Mulfingen site.
