This is what you can expect:

In your dual study program "Bachelor of Engineering: Mechanical Engineering – Plastics Technology", you will be taught in-depth mechanical engineering knowledge, ranging from product development to digitally controlled product development. Your focus here is always clearly on plastic-specific topics. For example, you will deal with plastics processing and the associated manufacturing technologies. In addition, you will be involved in the development and design of complex plastic parts and support us in finding solutions for individual customer wishes and current market requirements. By dealing with bio-based plastics and their recycling and campaigning for the implementation of a consistent plastics circular economy, you help us to live up to our claim of engineering a better life in a sustainable way.

Duration

3 years

During your three-year dual study program, you will switch back and forth between the university and ebm-papst every three months.

Mulfingen

Your practical training will take you to our headquarters in Mulfingen for three months per semester.

You will study at the DHBW in Mosbach, where you will also get to know the students of other partner companies.

After successfully completing your B.Eng. studies, you have the opportunity to follow up with a Master's degree program.
