How should a fan be designed so that it optimally meets the various market requirements of a technical application? How can machines be developed in such a way that they run smoothly and can be operated in an energy-efficient manner? In your dual study program for the "Bachelor of Engineering: Mechanical Engineering – KE", you will deal with these and other questions – for people worldwide, their applications and our environment. You will accompany our ventilation technology innovations from the idea to the functional product and work every day to optimize our sustainable, intelligent solutions and make them even more future-proof. Tasks
This is what you can expect:

During your dual study program "Bachelor of Engineering: Mechanical Engineering – Design and Development", we will enable you to further expand our position as a technology leader. One of your core tasks will be the new or further development of our industrial products and systems. In the course of your studies, you will acquire mechanical engineering basics and valuable knowledge in the fields of materials science and process engineering. You will learn about the latest technologies in mechanical engineering and practice the use of development tools and modern design systems. Upon completion of the program, you will have knowledge of the entire product creation and development process. You can therefore be employed in the areas of development and construction.

Duration

3 years

During your three-year dual study program, you will switch back and forth between the university and ebm-papst every three months.

Training location

Mulfingen, St. Georgen

You will complete your practical training at one of these two locations.

University location

Mosbach, Mannheim/Stuttgart

You are studying at the DHBW in Mosbach when your practical part takes place at ebm-papst in Mulfingen. You can go to the DHBW Mannheim or Stuttgart if you complete your practical training in St. Georgen.

After your training:

After successfully completing your B.Eng. studies, you have the opportunity to follow up with a Master's degree program.
